Friedrich Wilhelm I. 'der Soldatenkönig'

Uniform of the prussian Infantry Regiment No.6 'Königsregiment'

The Infantry Regiment No.6 "King's Regiment" is better known as "Lange Kerls". The officer uniform was worn by the Prussian King Frederick William I. (called "the Soldier King") himself.
Of all the officer uniforms of the Prussian army, there is also a simple uniform, without the valuable embroidery, only with buttons for everyday use.
